This piece is part of a series of smaller works I did the summer of 2022 which are hugely significant in my journey as that was the year I started to see a pattern come to life in my work. Everything became clearer that summer and I believe this painting still carries this immense gratitude I felt during that period of my life.
A bloom born of a soft return to oneself. My hope is for this piece to bring to someone who might need it right now the same sense of joy and peace as it did to me that summer.
