A Mermaid collection
This series explores gentle transition: the slow process of coming back to yourself, step by step.
Creation Through Uncertainty
There are moments when everything feels blurred, when the next step is unclear and nothing seems linear.
This collection marks a moment of reorientation: slowing down, finding my rhythm again, and returning to my work with a clearer sense of direction. Along the way, I’ve been learning to trust what isn’t fully visible yet. Moving at a different pace doesn’t mean being lost.. It means following what feels right, even when the path isn’t immediately clear.
The story behind the collection
Last summer, I was going through a very challenging time and creatively, nothing was coming out of me. The more I tried to force it, the further away I seemed to get from it. So I decided to take the pressure off creating. And somehow, mermaids appeared.
At first, I didn’t really question why. There was just something about sketching them that felt incredibly peaceful to me. This feeling of disappearing somewhere slightly removed from our own world. Looking back, I think I was painting something I needed at the time: a sense of peace, but also of freedom to find my own way again.
This collection reflects that experience honestly. Maybe clarity doesn’t come from forcing answers. Maybe it comes from staying present long enough for things to take shape on their own.

An Invitation Into Your Space
Working with a greener and bluer palette shifted my experience in the studio. The colours themselves brought a sense of calm, space, and ease into the process. My hope for releasing The In Between collection is to bring that same sense of calm into your home.
A reminder that change often happens quietly.
That returning to the surface can be a soft process.
When someone brings one of my paintings into their home, I hope it can offer something quiet to return to. A small window into another world that makes you pause for a moment

The artist pick:
My first original piece which was born from practicing my voice and my courage as a starting artist. It truly became my permission slip to start this journey and later on it became a love letter for artists, creatives, makers, anyone who needs to be reminded that the world needs their art, their magic.
